Emirates Safety Laboratory (ESL) is the newest world class facility for fire testing and conformity assessment certification. Operating across the GCC, greater Middle East, North Africa and the Sub-continent. ESL assists manufacturers, construction contractors, consultants and advisors in achieving product certification and market entry into the greater region.
As a trusted partner for a safer and sustainable future, ESL is a joint venture between Dubai Civil Defense (DCD) and Mawarid Holding Investment (MHI) with the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) product registration and approval. With extensive fire safety and TIC experience, ESL carry various international accreditations, providing customers access to CE and UKCA marking for market entry into the European Union single market. ESL undertakes testing to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Fire and Life Safety Code Manual of Practice, the North American Standards (ASTM, UL, ULC, NFPA, ANSI, etc.), British Standards, International Standards Organisation (ISO), European Norms (EN) and various other globally recognised international standards.
